Vacuum packaging in soft film – usually PA/PE composite films – which is produced on VARIOVAC deep-drawing machines, is the cost-effective and efficient solution for packaging many foods, primarily meat and sausage products, cheese, fish and menu components. However, they are also highly suited for sterile medical goods.

With this simple type of packaging, a substantially extended shelf life can be achieved for food, whilst still maintaining a stable product quality. Vacuum packaging is frequently used to store goods better or as transport packaging for bulk packs.
