Leak Testers
A simple, additional support for your quality assurance of MAP packages.
And this is how it works:
An EXIKATOR is a leak tester to survey your production of MAP packages in periodic intervals to verify possible leaks in film and sealed seams. Ready packs are placed into the water bath, the touch down lid presses the pack into the testing level and the EXIKATOR rondo will be evacuated.
By reducing the air pressure in the EXIKATOR the pack blows up. In case of leaks in film or sealed seams, bubbles raise up from the defect spot.
The testing pressure can be pre-selected and set to test the stability of the sealed seams under repeatable conditions.
After the non-destructive test, faultless packages can be regularly commercialised.
We can offer you two models, the small VARIOVAC rondo and the larger VARIOVAC quarree.

EXIKATOR quarree – well-proven
Housing made of acrylic sheet (PMMA) with touch-down lid from stainless steel. A water collector is integrated in the lid. Leaktester, vacuum pump and control device are mounted as a unit on a stainless steel table with wheels for flexible use.
