On our website you will find links to the social media networks of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. You can recognize these links to the social network pages by the respective company logo. If you follow these links, you will reach the company appearance of VARIOVAC PS SystemPack GmbH on the respective social network. When you click on a link on a social network, a connection to the servers of the social network is established. This transmits that you have visited our website to the social network server. - Date and time the website was accessed or the link was activated
- Information about the browser and operating system used
- IP address
If you are already logged in to the relevant social network account at the time the link is activated, the provider of the social network may be able to determine your user name and, if necessary, even your real name from the data transmitted, and store this information in your personal user account. The servers of the social networks are partly located in the USA and other countries outside the European Union. Therefore the data can also be processed by the provider of the social network in countries outside the European Union. Please note that companies in these countries are subject to data protection laws that generally do not protect personal data to the same extent as is the case in the member states of the European Union.
Please note that we have no influence on the scope, type and purpose of data processing by the provider of the social network. You can find more information about the use of your data by the social networks integrated on our website in the data protection guidelines of the respective social network.
Cookies
The legal basis for the use of cookies is Article 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR or Article 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR if you consent.
Our website uses so-called cookies in several places. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored and saved on your device. There are the following types of cookies:
Technically necessary cookies:
These are cookies that are necessary to operate the website properly and to provide all the necessary functions, e.g. the shopping cart function in the online shop or the determination of whether the cookie banner has been accepted or rejected. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. Of course, you can also deactivate, restrict or delete cookies on your device manually using the settings of your browser or using software.
Please note: If you deactivate the setting of cookies via your browser etc., not all functions of our website may be fully usable.
Cookies that are not necessary:
These cookies enable us to use services that are not absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. This can also include cookies for services that we are allowed to operate on the basis of a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR, but also services for which we need your consent. A more detailed description of the individual services used is given below.
In addition, a distinction can be made between own cookies and third-party cookies:
First party cookies:
This type of cookie is controlled directly by the VARIOVAC PS SystemPack GmbH. Depending on the purpose, these remain permanently stored - even after the session has ended (so-called permanent cookies, e.g. implementation of an opt-out or consent) or are deleted when the browser is closed (so-called session cookies; they only have validity for a browser session, e.g. a shopping cart cookie).
Third party cookies:
These types of cookies are controlled by third parties. Third party providers are, for example, providers who would in our case display advertising banners for VARIOVAC PS SystemPack GmbH on other websites. These third-party providers may then use cookies again, e.g. to transmit the information that an advertising banner they have shown has led to a purchase on our site.
These cookies enable us to analyze how users use our website. In this way we can design the website content according to visitor needs. In addition, the cookies allow us to measure the effectiveness of a particular ad and, for example, to place it depending on the thematic user interests.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

5. Plugins and Tools
YouTube
We integrate the videos from the platform “YouTube” from the provider Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, into our online offering. When you visit our site, a device ID is generated in the local storage of your web browser and stored beyond the session; calling up the page also results in a connection to the Google Marketing Platform. When you start the video, it could trigger further data processing. This is based on a voluntary viewing of the video, for which it is necessary to contact the YouTube website, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have no influence on that. If you are logged in to your Google account, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want the assignment to your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the video. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by YouTube can be found in Google's privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
The connection to Youtube is only activated as soon as you click on the video preview image. So there is a consent for the data transfer to YouTube in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Google Web Fonts
This page uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the Google servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To use the functions of Google Maps it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the US and saved there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the places we have indicated on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time. You can find more information on handling user data in Google's privacy policy:
