Cofinanced by grants from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the promotion of trade an industry under the joint federal government for the improvement of regional economic structures (GRW) and in conjunction with funds of the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) a state-of-the-art, new VARIOVAC production hall was built in 2018, which has approx. 3,000 m² of capacity for machine assembly, parts manufacturing and office rooms. With this investment, VARIOVAC, as a regionally rooted, internationally- and growth-oriented mechanical engineering company in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, is taking account of its economic development and making a clear commitment to the location Zarrentin am Schaalsee. Due to newly created space and the resulting expansion of production capacities as well as core competencies, VARIOVAC can meet the significantly increased demand for its own product portfolio. In addition to safeguarding existing jobs, a large number of modern new jobs will be created that meet the demands of an attractive employer.
